The roles and responsibilities of men and women differ as presented in scripture.  To say that one is more important than the other is to state what God has not stated, for each of us arrives at our individual salvation through the same process - baptism (Galatians 3:26-28).

To ignore God-given role instructions for work, worship, and living produces confusion and unnecessary relationship conflict. (Note the context of 1 Corinthians 14:33 & 40).  Much of the success of any organization is dependent upon its support sector.  The church is no different.  Mary and Martha, though not apostles or preachers, were invaluable to the ministry of Jesus.  Paul commends Phebe for the help given to his ministry.  She is described as a “servant of the church” (Romans 16:1-3).

The occupations of our ladies range from homemaker to professional services with education that includes upper level degrees and multiple talents.  The invaluable support provided by our ladies to our church family is unsurpassed.  Truly, “their price is far above rubies”. (Proverbs 31:10).
